Moroccan Chaabi
Moroccan popular music is used to express feelings, and can be intensely political. Chaabi is the dance of the people and incorporates elements of traditional Moroccan movement, the dance features shimmies, hair sways, bold hip accents. The dance is earthy and joyous in nature and a whole lot of fun. In this workshop we explore the rhythm, technique, and movements that are typical of Moroccan style set to upbeat modern Moroccan Chaabi music.

Saidi is the earthy Egyptian folkloric dance incorporating lively steps and playful attitude. Learn a super fun and uplifting saiidi choreography with Ekaterini. The dance uses strong saiidi technique without losing the grace and femininity.

She will demonstrate and Oriental Dancer's glamour look on a model participant then participants will apply the look on their face with Rita's guidance. Some highlights & tips and tricks include - base, conceal, contour, plus Arabic eyes and perfect lash application.
